Keva Planks are perfectly cut , identical construction blocks that stack with surprising stability, achieved by cutting the planks with great precision. They are about 1/4 inch thick, 3/4 inch wide and 4 1/2 inches long. You build structures by simply stacking the planks. No glue, no connectors. They can be stacked upright which looks like it would be as unstable as a house of cards, or stacked flat in squares, triangles, trapezoids--whatever. Younger kids can build walls, towers, and creative forms quickly and easily. Older kids can build more advanced designs like castles, bridges, or the Eiffel Tower. KEVA Palnks stimulate creativity, concentration, and imagination. They have broadest age range appeal of any toy we have ever seen. From preschoolers to architects, each person builds at his own skill level.

KEVA Planks are the same size and shape as Kapla blocks, which we used to sell. They are fully compatable and can be used together. We think KEVA are superior because they are made from maple, not pine, which is less dense and doesn't develop the lovely patina that maple does over time. And, even though they are made in the USA, they are more affordable than Kapla, which are made in Morrocco.

KEVA planks are made from renewable resources by using fine hardwood maple that is leftover from the cabinet and molding industry.
