We were very pleased to find this fishing pole. Handmade in Pennsylvania, it's better made, plays better, and costs the same as other wooden fishing poles made in China.
Each pole has about 4 feet of string and comes with 1 magnetic wooden fish. Additional fish are available--see link at right.
For added fun, tie a blanket across two chairs and play "fishing pond". One person hides in the pond while the other fishes. What will the angler fish out of the pond? A fish with a message tied to it? Some other metal object? Who knows! Lots of rainy day fun....
