A bee needs a flower. A flower needs a bee.
Waves need the wind, and a fish needs the sea.
Bricks need mortar. A hammer needs a nail.
Heart needs aorta, and the water needs a pail
Napper's Delight, by Dean Jones, is a quiet and quirky little accoustic gem that seems to fade in and out of the stuff of dreams. This album is full of gems that just seem to spill out charm and lift your mood with its sense of playful peacefulness. (In fact, prior to writing this, I was on the phone dealing with an intractable health insurance problem and now I'm listening to this and smiling again.) Suitable for lullabies for older kids or just for background music during quiet play time.
A special surprise: our longtime favorite Elizabeth Mitchell lends vocals to track 5, "Grow Little Flower".
