This album, by Chicago rockers turned parents, is a classic kid's hootenanny--complete with steel guitars and jugs. True to it's name, most songs revolve around beasties both hairy and slimy from house dogs to ants. Our favorite is
Housefly Blues, with it's closing reference to Ramona, Riley and Abby's favorite literary character.
So if you're in the mood for some great Chicago blues and you've got someone new to this Earth within earshot, you need the Wee Hairy Beasties.
