This toy is perfect for a 2 year old, who loves to do things he sees grownups doing--particularily cooking. This set from Plan has a carrot, lemon, mushroom, pear, and apple that are held together with velcro. Using the included (extremely dull) wooden knife, the child cuts the fruits and veggies apart. Then, they go back together so he can do it again.
This toy was a favorite of our son Riley, who loved making pretend soup with his cut veggies.
