When folded in thirds, you will have sixteen layers of cotton between you and leaks. This newborn size will work for about the first year of your baby's life and can be used as a doubler after that. We recommend washing and drying new bleached diapers twice when you get them to soften 'em up. They will continue to thicken and quilt over the course of several washings. In addition to being great diapers, these are also perfect as burp cloths. And, when your children are all done with diapers, they're great for washing the car!

Wash and dry 5 or 6 times before using.

The unbleached version contains more cotton oil, so they will take about six washings to equal the bleached diapers' absorbency.

Infant size is best for about the first year or so--use regular size after that. Made in China or India.
