The Ergo Baby Carrier is easy to put on and provides complete freedom of movement. From infant (with the Infant Insert) to toddler, just one carrier will meet all your needs. The ERGO can be worn on the front, back, and hip positions. The ergonomic design of the ERGO supports both you and your baby in the most comfortable and healthy way possible.

We like the ergo because it balances your baby's weight on both shoulders, so your hips won't be canted by the weight of a baby on one side of your body. It's also the best way to carry a baby or toddler on your back. The disadvantage is that, like a quality hiking backpack, the Ergo has a number of buckles and straps that require connecting and adjusting each time you use it. So, it's not as quick to take on and off as a sling. If you're going to be wearing your baby for more than half an hour, though, it's definitely worth it.
