Living in a drafty old house in Minnesota, we were thrilled to discover the BabyCare Lambskin Comforter,
from New Zealand. It was great for Abby when she was a baby--she had nice warm spot on the livingroom floor to play. We took it into our family bed for daytime naps and in the hot Minnesota summer used it to keep her cool in her car seat.
Wool keeps baby warm and cozy in cold weather and cool and dry in warm weather. The BabyCare Lambskin is sanitized for lasting hygiene and can be washed. Babycare lambskins require less care than other baby bedding. Just machine wash and dry (always on cool!) once a month. Full care instructions are attached to each skin. We recommend Eucalan Wool Wash to preserve the skin's natural lanolin.
Bowron lambskins are sanitized to hospital specifications and are cured without the use of formaldehyde. In fact, Bowron has achieved a maximum of 20ppm of formaldehyde in its lambskins, which is 3 times better than rigid European Union standards and 20 times better than many other brands.
Dimensions are a minimum of 22" x 32-37".
Note: A baby under 1 year of age should be placed on his or her back to sleep on a lambskin.
Lambkins are available full-sized in plush natural (cushier & cuddlier) or shorn (better for newborns, easier to clean).
